This stem will not improve your cornering precision by 3.14%, it won't resonate your receptors 4.20% faster, nor will it quantum entangle your electrolytes. It isn't the product of the confabulation of a 3rd dan black belt in engineering over the course of a nano-eon. It was designed in Squamish (in about half that time) and machined in Whistler, BC.
Since beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beerholder, the only honest claim to be made is: it will hold your bars and turn your steerer.
Sure, you can find a lighter stem. But these were born in a place dominated by DH bikes and direct mounts stems. We could reduce the stack height, reduce the steerer bolt size, choke the neck profile, narrow the clamp width and split the faceplate in two. But your "One Bike to Rule Them All" deserves the extra confidence.
If you want a short stem, want it to look like this and want it made in Canada, this is the stem for you.

This is a no BS stem that clamps and gives a confident sensation when tightening. It harkens to the era of Thomson stems with proper 4mm hardware! Great work Loam Lab crew!
Nice Beefy stem, anodizing and quality are first class. I like the direct imput feeling whenusing the 32mm stem.
Stem has been solid,Mark was super quick to reply to questions, and easy to work with regarding shipping to the the States.
Super sweet stem! Was looking for something different from all the other boring offerings and this one stood out! Handmade in Canada is a big plus! Machining and anodizing is really well made + shipping was fast and it came with stickers. Would buy again!
It's strong, stunning, created by someone super passionate and supports what bikes are about.
Any chance to support local should be at least looked at. :)
